Grabbing Claw 10 gp 1d10 slashing 4 lb. Heavy, Two Handed, Reach, Special

The Grabbing Claw is a 6 foot long pole with an iron claw attached to the end, used to tear shields away from opponents and rip them off of horseback. The claws are quite sharp at the end, also making them excellent at ripping flesh. These are rather old weapons, used around 510 BCE, so it doesn't make much sense to use them in modern day campaign settings.

Special

Disarm shield. On your turn, when you make an attack with this weapon, you can choose to try disarm the target's shield if it's wielding one. If you succeed an attack roll, you can choose to roll again with disadvantage. If you succeed, you tear the shield out of their hand and throw it to the side, dealing no damage to the target. If you fail, you deal normal damage to the target and fail to disarm them.

Forced Dismount. On your turn, when you make an attack with this weapon, you can choose to try rip the target off it's vehicle, if it's riding one. If you succeed an attack roll, you can choose to force the target off the vehicle, dealing normal damage + 1d4 bludgeoning damage when it hits the floor.
