Giantfall (5e Equipment)

Weapon (greataxe), legendary (requires attunement by a barbarian or fighter) Forged millennia ago by dwarves to aide the human "First Hero King" Einwolf in his centuries-long struggle against the the giants, Giantfall is a magnificently crafted, dual-bladed greataxe. Weilders have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic greataxe. On a hit, you deal an extra 1d8 slashing damage for every size category the target exceeds your size. (If you are Medium, for example, the greataxe inflicts an extra 1d8 damage to a Large creature, 2d8 to a Huge creature, and 3d8 to a Gargantuan creature.) A critical hit deals 1d12 extra slashing damage against creatures with the giant type, including ettins, ogres and trolls.
