  • This particular Shuriken resembles a Windmill and it is considered large. There are four, one sided curved blades on an open circle so the user can wield it. The blades can fold around the open circle and stack for compact storage. When stacked, blades are then set on a spring system to fling open when ready to be used.

The Art Of Throwing One Fūma Shuriken In The Shadow Of Another

  • You may draw 2 Fūma Shuriken with a Free Action, and as part of the Action to use this attack, you throw a secondary Fūma Shuriken as well. Throw them both horizontally about mid to high level of your target so they don’t see the bottom Fūma Shuriken. The objective is to get the target to duck the top Shuriken putting themself into the direct path of the bottom one.


Ranged Attack

   • Add Attack Mod For Top FS As Normal 
   • Target Makes DEX Save For Bottom FS
   • 8 + Proficiency + DEX or STR Mod = DC
   • Disadvantage On Save If Top FS Hits
   • Bottom FS = 2d8 Slashing
   • Damage Mods Apply Once To Both FS
   • Bottom FS Half Damage On A 
     Successful Save 



Rigged Fūma Shuriken


The Preparation Of Rigging A Fūma Shurikens Blades To Shoot Out From The Inner Ring On A Missed Attack

  • Using 20 Feet of Monomolecular Wire, tie one end to the spring system that works the folding process of the blades and keep the other end when thrown. If the Fūma Shuriken misses, use a Bonus Action to pull the wire to shoot all 4 blades from the inner ring. This preparation will take about 10 minutes of down time for each Fūma Shuriken.

   • On A Miss - Bonus Action To Pull Wire 
     To Burst FS At 20 Feet
   • Each Shuriken Blade(4) = 2d6 Piercing 
   • Each Creature (4 Max) Makes DEX     
     Save DC12 In 10Ft Radius (X Pattern)
   • Half Damage On Successful Save
  • Damage Mods Do Not Apply With This technique.
  • Fūma Shuriken Do Not Burst On A Hit.
  • Fūma Shuriken Can Only Be Put Back Together With A DC Check Of 15 With Tinkerers Tools.

   • Follow Shadow Shuriken Jutsu Above 
   • On A Miss - Bonus Action To Pull 
     Wires To Burst Both FS At 20 Feet
   • Target Has Disadvantage On DEX Save
   • Each Shuriken Blade(8) = 4d6 Piercing 
   • Each Creature (8 Max) Makes DEX     
     Save DC14 In 10Ft Radius
   • Half Damage On Successful Save
  • If One Fūma Shuriken Hits, The Other Fūma Shuriken Can Still Burst If It Doesn’t.
   • Target Has Disadvantage On DEX Save 
   • Each Shuriken Blade(4) = 2d6 Piercing 
   • Each Creature (4 Max) Makes DEX     
     Save DC12 In 10Ft Radius (X Pattern)
   • Half Damage On Successful Save
