Demon Wielder[edit]

This class is based on the anime "Chainsaw Man" The abilities come from contracts that will hinder you in some way.

Making A Contract[edit]

Different devils/fiends will allow you to make a "Contract" with them. whenever a devil/fiend uses the word "Contract" it is all-powerful. If either side of the Contract breaks it, they die no matter what.

Creating a Demon Wielder[edit]

Different characters will be able to use different contracts. you can make more than one contract.

Quick Build

You can make a Demon Wielder quickly by following these suggestions. Choose Strength or Charisma should be your highest ability score, followed by Dexterity or Constitution.

Class Features

As a Demon Wielder you gain the following class features.

Hit Points

Hit Dice: 1d10 per Demon Wielder level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 10 + Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d10 (or 6) + Constitution modifier per Demon Wielder level after 1st

Proficiencies

Armor:
Weapons: Melee weapons that do either slashing or piercing damage
Tools:
Saving Throws: Strength and Charisma
Skills: Choose 2 from: Athletics, Acrobatics, Persuasion or Intimidation.

Equipment

You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:

  • (a) Dagger or (b) Short Sword or (c) Longsword
  • If you are using starting wealth, you have 10d4x10 in funds.

First Contract[edit]

In 1st level, You can make a contract with one of the devils.

Contract Proficiency[edit]

In 2nd level, You have make your devil happy. They will allow you to make more contracts. You gain a +1 to hit with your first devil.

Devils Nose[edit]

In 3rd level, Your devil has given you the ability to smell demons.

All of Me (If Not Devil)[edit]

In 4th level, You can give up your life to your devil for it to use all of its power. It will do anything you ask of it that It can.

Second Contract[edit]

in 5th level, You can make another contract.

Becoming a Devil[edit]

At 6th level, You have met a devil who wants you to live forever. Doing this will break all ties with your contracted devils and will turn you into a devil.

Bodily Improvements[edit]

At 7th level, You have become stronger because of your training. You gain a +3 to either: Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution.

Devils Heart (Becoming A Devil)[edit]

In 8th level, You have the choice to become a devil. you will get many new powers but will break all contracts and never get any more. all abilities you gained from making contracts are lost. If you become a devil then remove a contract and choose a power from the hybrid section.

Destroying A Contract[edit]

In 8th level, If the cost of your contract is too high, you can decide to break the contract. you will need to pay your devil 100 GP as payment for the contract to be broken without you dying. you can make a new contract after a long rest.

Third Contract (If not devil)[edit]

in 9th level, You can make another contract

Devils Body (If devil)[edit]

In 9th level, You gain a +2 to (Strength or Dexterity) and Constitution

Revival (If devil)[edit]

In 10th level, If you die and are fed blood (No matter the amount) you will revive at a number of hp equal to the amount of blood. 1d10 per ounce (oz) of blood

Persuading With Devils[edit]

In 11th level, You can talk to devils and they will listen. when talking to a devil, make a charisma check. if it is higher than a 14 then the devil will listen to you (DM can change this depending on the devil. Id recommend changing it for devils like the control devil)

Second Chance (If not devil)[edit]

In 12th level, You can get a second chance at life whenever you use the ability (All of Me) instead of dying, you go unconscious and are at 1HP. you arent unconscious after 5 minutes

Fourth Contract (If not devil)[edit]

In 13th level, You can make another contract

Devils Ears[edit]

In 14th level, Any sound made within 60ft is able to be heard by you.

Devils Eyes[edit]

In 15th level, You can see through any cover that is not full cover. your sight is 140ft of clear and 240ft of blurry.

Favorable Contract (If not devil)[edit]

In 16th level, All of your contracts are changed to be in your favor. pick a contract to have no downside when using it. (CANNOT BE CURSE DEVIL, CONTROL DEVIL OR GUN DEVIL)

Final Contract (If not devil)[edit]

In 17th level, You can make your fifth and final contract.

Full Devil Form (If devil)[edit]

In 18th level, If your devil has a form, you can become it for 30 seconds. usable once a long rest.

Destroying Force (If devil)[edit]

In 19th level, Once a long rest, you can destroy any structure that has an AC of 25 or less.

Devils Aura[edit]

In 20th level, Any creature around you needs to make a DC 30 Wisdom saving throw or be knocked prone, paralyzed, blinded, deafened, muted, and unable to cast spells. this lasts 60 seconds. usable once a long rest.

Extra Attack[edit]

In level 7st and 14st, You can use an extra melee attack or ability on each turn.

Ability Score Improvement[edit]

When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

CANON DEVILS[edit]

These devils exist in the anime and/or manga

Fox Devil[edit]

The fox devil looks like a demonic fox. Its abilities are summoning its body to attack. Wants a piece of your body every time you use it. (Such as a piece of skin or a kidney you choose what to feed it)

Kon (Paw)

The paw of the fox devil crushes an enemy dealing 3d8 Bludgeoning Damage.

Kon (Claw)

The claws of the fox devil slices the enemy dealing 2d10 Slashing Damage.

Kon (Bite)

The Head of the fox devil bites an enemy dealing 2d12 Slashing Damage.

Future Devil[edit]

The future devil looks like a skeleton wrapped in gold with some golden armor on. It allows the user to see a few seconds into the future. Wants half your lifespan or all of your money (Must be over 300GP)

Future Dodge

The user gets a +2 to AC if using dexterity for their AC

Future Sight

The user can see the future of themself in the time span of one hour before it happens. the user's sight gets blurrier the longer the future sight is active

Future Sword

The user can see themselves hitting the weak point of the enemy. this gives the user a +1 to all damage and hit rolls and your sword is consisdered magical for getting past resistences.

Ghost Devil[edit]

The ghost devil is invisible. it can use its invisibility to attack enemies. Wants your left eye or hand.

Ghost Punch

The ghost devil punches an enemy dealing 1d12 bludgeoning damage.

Ghost Choke

The ghost devil chokes an enemy for 6 seconds dealing 2d10 Bludgeoning Damage and 1d10 force damage.

Ghost Cloak

The ghost devil will allow you to go invisible for 12 seconds.

Blood Devil[edit]

The blood devil can control blood. Other peoples blood is harder to control than their own. Wants a pint of your blood.

Blood Hammer

The user cuts themself and forms the blood into a hammer. they can use it as a weapon, it deals 1d10 Bludgeoning damage and lasts 3 hits.

Blood Sword

The user cuts themself and forms the blood into a sword. they can use it as a weapon, it deals 1d8 Slashing damage and lasts 5 hits.

Blood Stop

User targets themselves or another creature to stop their blood from moving and it becomes a solid. this is used to stop wounds from bleeding. this can only stop a 5" by 5" space.

Violence Devil[edit]

The violence devil is so powerful that it constantly wears a poison-filled mask to weaken it. it is a physical fighter and uses hand-to-hand combat. Wants a bouquet of roses.

Grab Slam

The user grabs an enemy and slams them on the ground. they are knocked prone and take 1d12 bludgeoning damage.

Axe Kick

The user kicks an enemy to the ground causing it to crack. the enemy takes 2d8 Bludgeoning damage.

Rapid Blows

The user punches an enemy 1d8+2 times dealing 1d6+1 Bludgeoning Damage Each time.

Angel Devil[edit]

The angel devil can take away someone's life span just by touching them, the angel devil creates weapons to kill people by taking the user's lifespan. Wants a pair of gloves made out of wool that cost at least 100GP.

Usage One Year

The user creates a longsword that deals 1d12 force damage and takes one year away from the user's lifespan.

Usage Ten Years

The user creates a longsword that deals 3d12 force damage and takes ten years away from the user's lifespan.

Usage Twenty Years

The user creates a longsword that deals 5d12 force damage and takes twenty years away from the user's lifespan.

Curse Devil[edit]

The curse devil gives the user the ability to defeat an enemy in a low amount of hits. This has a different price depending on the users contract.

Roll a D4 when making a contract to determine the price you have to pay whenever using this power

1. Months of your life equal to the targets HPx0.5
2. -HP equal to the targets HPx0.25
3. Decreased max health equal to 12.5% the targets hp
4. Your choice of the above
Fire

The user stabs the enemy. they have to use this 3 times before the enemy dies and user pays the price.

Life Span

The curse devil makes noise through the sword telling the user how much life span they have left.

Gun Devil[edit]

The gun devil is one of the strongest devils. It is made up of many guns and can break down buildings in milliseconds. Wants you to kill a random person.

Pistol

The user summons a pistol in their hand with ammunition equal to their max hp and it takes 2 hp per shot. The pistol does 2d10 piercing

Rocket

User summons a small missle which does 3d12 fire damage and takes 1d10 hp to summon

Control Devil[edit]

The control devil is the most powerful devil to exist. It has a sweet voice that manipulates you every second you talk with it. if you meet it, You are forced to make a DC12 Charisma saving throw or Die. Every time the user wants to target someone with a move, the control devil mentally communicates with them and they have to make a DC10 Charisma Saving Throw or not use the move. Wants you to make relationships with people without using powers.

Bang

The user puts out their fingers like children do to imitate a gun, then they say "Bang". the target is knocked away 30ft, knocked prone, and takes 3d12 force damage.

Sweet Whisper

The user talks to the target (Or targets) and manipulates them. All targets must succeed a DC16 Charisma Saving Throw (With disadvantage) or be forced to do anything the user says for 10 minutes. after the time is up, the target forgets everything that happened.

Down

The user can make someone prone and paralyzed by saying "Down" to them. the target cant hurt the user. the target cant move until the user allows them to. the user cannot use any abilities or make any attacks while someone is "down" except the user can cast this spell on a different target. the target can make a DC18 saving throw to get out of the effects of this ability.

NON CANON DEVILS[edit]

These are my personal ideas for devils.

String Devil[edit]

The string devil wraps his enemies in string that slices them. Wants a hand knitted blanket or article of clothing made by you.

String Claw

the user whips the target with string dealing 1d8 slashing damage

String Pull

The user wraps the target in string dealing 1d10 slashing and pulls them next to the user which allows the user to make another attack (Not this one)

String Trap

The user wraps the target in string which deals 2d12 slashing damage

Flower Devil[edit]

The flower devil portrays herself as a beautiful woman in a kimono with a sakura pattern. She can control flowers and petals and use them to defeat her opponents. Wants any item you have that you believe is beautiful

Sakura blossom

The target is covered in sakura petals. they deal 1d12 force damage to the target. the target doesn't feel any pain. the target takes this damage every turn until the petals are removed.

Cherry tree

The user summons a cherry tree that radiates bright pink light for 60ft and dim pink light for another 30ft. The user is covered in cherry petals that surround them as they are teleported atop the tree. the user uses the cherry wood to strike them dealing 2d12 bludeoning damage.

Flower Dance

The user summons large amounts of flower petals which become the shape of tendrils. they whip the enemy 2d4 times dealing 1d12 each time

Ice Devil[edit]

Using Ice, this devil makes the air cold enough to rip targets lungs to shreds. Wants a frozen dessert

Freezing Air

The user blows a spray of ice projectiles that freeze the air dealing 1d12 cold damage to all creatures in a 15ft cone.

Ice Spear

The user sends an icicle toward the target dealing 2d12 cold damage to them

Abominate

The user summons a large pile of snow and ice above their enemy and crashes it on them dealing 4d10 Cold damage

Ashes Devil[edit]

The ashes devil creates exploding ashes to destroy his enemies. Wants a dead family member or pets ashes.

Ashes

The user sends ashes into the air which fill everyone's lungs within a 10ft radius dealing 2d8 necrotic damage. Anyone affected must roll a constitution saving throw or be given disadvantage on attack rolls.

Explosive Ashes

The user blows ashes at a target which explode on contact dealing 3d12 Bludgeoning/Fire damage

Nitroglycerin Ashes

The user summons ashes around the target blowing them up dealing 5d10 Bludgeoning Damage. If the target doesn't move it has disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws.

Hybrids[edit]

If you are a hybrid, you cant make any contracts and all your previously made contracts are broken (You don't die from this) you gain a +1 to AC. you gain +2 to one stat of your choice. you gain a devil heart.

Devil Hearts[edit]

Chainsaw Heart[edit]

You can burst chainsaws from your head and arms.

Chainsaw Mode

You sprout chainsaws out of your head and arms. this takes 1/10 of your hp. your unarmed strikes deal 2d8 slashing damage.

Chainsaw Rush

The user Sends out the chains to swing 1d12x10ft in any direction.

Chainsaw Shred

The user charges an enemy shredding them with all of their saw blades dealing 3d12 slashing damage.

Last Saw

If the user needs another chainsaw blade, they can summon another one to increase their unarmed strikes to deal an additional 1d8 slashing damage.

Full Form

The user goes beserk, they gain another chainsaw on each of their arms increasing their unarmed strikes by 2d8 slashing, they also cannot use "Last Saw" in this mode. The user gains 4d6 Temporary HP and 20ft of movement.

Katana Heart[edit]

The katana devil is very fast and has the power to "Blink" around which allows them to move so fast that he can teleport

Katana Form

The user Sprouts A Katana from their head and hands. their unarmed strikes deal 2d6 slashing and they can "Blink"

Blink

The user teleports behind an enemy gaining advantage if they use "Slash" or "Pierce" during it

Slash

The user slashes an enemy dealing 2d12 slashing damage

Pierce

The user hits an enemy with their head katana piercing through them dealing 2d8 Slashing Damage

Hidden speed

The user takes off one of their hands allowing them to access their full power. The user gains more speed so they can use "Slash" and "Pierce" when they use "Blink"

Bomb Heart[edit]

The bomb devil has a different way to transform being a pin on her neck. If pulled she will go into her form even if she has died

Bomb Transformation

Your head turns into a miniature missile and you have explosives all over you. you must be in transformation to use your abilities

Missile Headbutt

You slam your head down on the target and blow it up. this does 3d12 bludgeoning damage and your missile head is immediately regenerated.

Missile Jump

You can explode your legs to propel yourself 1d12x10ft in the air. you can use this mid-air to gain a flying speed of 60ft but you fall at the end of your turn.

Bomb Grab

You grab an enemy and explode your body dealing 5d10 Bludgeoning Damage with advantage.

Bomb Ressurection

If someone pulls your pin after you have died then you come back at 1d10HP in your "Bomb Transformation".

Multiclassing[edit]

Prerequisites. To qualify for multiclassing into the Demon Wielder class, you must meet these prerequisites: 16 in strength and charisma

Proficiencies. When you multiclass into the Demon Wielder class, you gain the following proficiencies: Intimidation
