Dagger of Despair (5e Equipment)

Weapon (5e SRD:dagger), very rare (requires attunement) A beautiful silver dagger with a handled made of black stained wood and leather, obsidian gems accent the blade and the pronounced curve to the blade almost remind one of a small scimitar. The dagger does 2d4 Slashing 1d6 necrotic damage. Know Despair: On being hit by the Dagger of Despair, the target must make a DC 12 Wisdom save or be incapacitated for one minute reliving the worst moment of their life. Taking damage allows the target to reroll the save, and they can reroll the save again at the end of their turn. If two targets are incapacitated by the dagger, it cannot incapacitate more, instead only doing it's usual damage. |
