Concealed Mithril Breastplate

Mithril is a light, flexible metal. A mithril breastplate can be worn under normal clothes. If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, the mithril version of the armor doesn't.

This breastplate is covered in leather and looks like an ordinary item of clothing that requires a DC 30 perception check to identify as armour when worn. The lightness of the Mithril removes the maximum DEX mod restriction on the breastplate and allows the full DEX modifier to be applied.

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
