Armor (shield), rare (requires attunement)

A small wooden buckler that has been left charred and burned by magical fire. Embers dance along its edges and the smell of smoke still clings to the shield, no matter how often it is cleaned nor how dirty it gets.

While holding this shield, you gain a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.

Dancing Embers. You can use your movement to teleport an equal distance, disappearing and reappearing in a cloud of smoke and embers, and you do not provoke opportunity attacks when moving this way. You may teleport a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses at dawn.

Ever-Burning. Additionally, at the start of your turn, if you took damage since the start of your last turn and you are not unconscious, you regain hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.
