Weapon (any bow), very rare (requires attunement) This bow is infused with the power of lightning, granted by a dragon and an elemental. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. While you are holding it, your speed increases by 20 feet. Death from Above. While you are holding this magic weapon, you can use an action to sprout wings made of pure lightning and gain a flying speed equal to your movement speed for 1 minute. Once you use this property of the weapon, you can't use it again until the next dawn. Aspect of the Lightning Dragon. While you are holding this magic weapon, you can use an action to awaken the draconic essence within the bow and spew out lightning in a 40-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 5d10 lightning damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. Once you use this property of the weapon, you can't use it again until the next dawn. Aspect of the Storm Elemental. While you are holding this magic weapon, you can use a bonus action to awaken the elemental essence within the bow and surround yourself in a storm cloud for 1 minute. While the cloud is active, you have advantage on attack rolls made against creatures wearing metal armor and creatures made of metal. Additionally, if a creature wearing metal armor or a creature made of metal touches you or hits you with a melee attack while within 5 feet of you, they take 1d8 lightning damage. Once you use this property of the weapon, you can't use it again until the next dawn. |
