A baseball is a small ball with a rubber or cork center, wrapped in yarn, and covered in white horsehide or cowhide, tightly stitched together. The ball fits nicely into the hand and weighs very little, contributing to its long thrown range.

If you are wielding a bludgeoning melee weapon when you throw a baseball, you can strike the ball with it. If you do so, the range of the baseball increases to 80/320, and the damage increases to 1d6.
