Level 2 Average Gun Weapon Mod Equipment

Benefit: When you hit with a ranged attack with this weapon, you may deal 2 damage to an enemy adjacent to the target (or 3 damage for a heavy gun). If you choose to do this, it is considered an additional attack for the purpose of ammo consumption.
One of the most rudimentary ways of increasing the lethality of a gun is to increase the rate at which it puts projectiles into the air. Whilst most Future guns are semi-automatic or fire in short bursts, weapons with the Automatic mod can fire a steady stream of bullets or beams, and can hit multiple targets as a result.
