Armour of Warding (5e Equipment)

Armor (medium or heavy, but not hide), rare (requires attunement)

An ugly looking suit of armour forged by Harlok, orc god of the forge, wreathed in a magical ward.

Warding Shield. While wearing this armour you gain temporary hit points equal to twice the armor's Armour Class. While you have these temporary hit points, whenever you make a saving throw, you can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to the saving throw and can use your reaction to reduce the damage you take from an attack by 1d8 + your proficiency bonus (to a minimum of 1 damage). When you make an attack, you can sacrifice all your temporary hit points to gain advantage on that attack and deal additional force damage on a hit equal to twice the temporary hit points spent.
These temporary hit points are regained when you finish a long rest.
