Artifact (Longbow), artifact very rare (Requires Attunement)

Saved from being slain by a rival, Zaden, the Great Wyrm, the blue dragon, joined himself to several of the females of the clan of kitsune that saved his life, blessing them to bare his offspring. To protect his children, he created a number of enchanted bows to protect the clan, and his hybrid offspring. By his own breath, he infused the bows with his magic, with his blood he blessed the bows with enhanced abilities meant to shield his children and aid in this clan of kitsune being safer. But it was not to be. Over time, one of the most powerful enemies of the clan, the Cult of the Dragon's Void, an evil cult in service of Tiamat, overwhelmed the village and slew all they could find, the guardians among them. These special bows vanished into time after that day, dispersed, lost.

This long bone white bow is engraved with draconic runes that constantly glow blue as if filled with lightning, it hums with the electrical currents of magic. The string of the bow never breaks, formed from the sinews of a slain rival and feels electrified.

The bow deals 1d8 piercing damage. At dawn of every day the bow calls a thunderstorm which strikes it with lightning, reinvigorating it's powers as long as it has access to the sky. If the bow is taken somewhere it has no access to the open sky, it will at dawn, consume the magic from another enchanted object at random within 40ft of it. While in possession of this bow you are immune to the fear status effect as well as resistant to lightning damage (only take half damage). The bow's powers can only be used if you are physically holding it and while doing so you cannot use other spells unless they stem from magical items you are attuned to. If the bow has full empowered runes, it does not consume magical items nor call forth lightning to reinvigorate it.
