Legendary Resistance (3/day). If Yveltal fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. The Yveltal has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Rejuvenation. If it dies, the Yveltal returns to life in 1d6 and regains all its hit points. Only a wish spell can prevent this trait from functioning.

Turn Immunity. The Yveltal is immune to effects that turn undead.

Life Eater. A creature reduced to 0 hit points from damage dealt by Yveltal dies and can't be revived by any means short of a wish spell.

Dark Aura. All creatures of Yveltal's choice within 60 feet of it have disadvantage on saving throws against effects that deal necrotic damage, and they take an additional 21 (6d6) damage from such effects (included in the effect).

Phantom Force. One target within 120 feet of Yveltal must make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 76 (10d10 + 6d6) necrotic damage on a failed saving throw, or half as much on a success.

Dark Pulse (Recharge 5-6). Yveltal shoots a blast of darkness in a 30-foot radius around it. Each creature of Yveltal's choice in that area must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw, taking 93 (16d8 + 6d6) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Oblivion Wing. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage plus 35 (10d6) necrotic damage, and Yveltal regains hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt.

Air Slash. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 18 (3d8 + 5) slashing damage.

Sucker Punch. When a creature within 10 feet of Yveltal hits it with an attack, Yveltal can use its reaction to make one Air Slash against it. If the attack is successful, the creature must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or reroll the triggering attack with disadvantage.

The can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Detect. Yveltal makes a Wisdom (Perception) check

Disable. One creature within 120 feet of Yveltal must make a DC 20 Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, the creature can't regain hit points until the end of its next turn.

Sky Attack (Costs 3 Actions). Xerneas makes one Oblivion Wing attack or uses Phantom Force once.
