Huge monstrosity, neutral evil Armor Class 17 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Str +5, Dex +5, Con +6 Desperation. Xedur becomes more frantic as it gets closer to defeat. Once it reaches below certain hit point thresholds, its attacks become more numerous. In addition, whenever a hit point threshold is reached, Xedur's bomb volley attack is recharged. Less than 90 hit points. The amount of energy orbs Xedur can fire in a volley increases to six (two per target), and the amount of bombs it can fire in a volley increases to three. Additionally, its flying speed increases to 50 feet. Less than 30 hit points. The amount of energy orbs Xedur can fire in a volley increases to nine (three per target), and the amount of bombs it can fire in a volley increases to four. Additionally, its flying speed increases to 60 feet. ACTIONSEnergy Orb Volley. Xedur fires up to three red projectiles at three different targets it can see. Each energy orb is a ranged weapon attack with a range of 60/120, +5 to hit, and deals 5 (2d4) force damage. Bomb Volley (recharge 5-6). Xedur launches up to two small red bombs from its tail, which stick to solid surfaces within 60 feet. Roll initiative (a straight d20) for each bomb. On each bomb's turn in initiative order, the bomb explodes. Each creature within 5 feet of an exploding bomb must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 18 (4d8) force damage on a failure and half as much on a success. MYTHIC ACTIONSThese actions can occur as soon as the trigger for them is met. Enraged Volley (2 uses). In response to taking damage that brings it below 90 or 30 hit points, Xedur can move up to its speed without provoking opportunity attacks and perform one of its volley attacks.
