Shapechanger. The werevulture can use its action to polymorph into a vulture-humanoid hybrid or into a Small vulture, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Keen Smell. The werevulture has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Fight or Flight (Hybrid Form Only). The werevulture's hands are built into its wings. While at least one of its hands is holding an object, its flying speed is halved. A single object cannot be held in both hands while flying.

ACTIONS

Multiattack (Vulture or Hybrid Form Only). The werevulture makes two attacks, only one of which can be with its beak.

Beak (Vulture or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with werevulture lycanthropy.

Wing Slam (Vulture or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

Shortsword (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.

Sling (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

Werevultures are ruthless flying lycanthropes, always surveying their surroundings for their next meal, whether dead or merely near-dead. In humanoid form, a werevulture has crooked posture and a long nose. A werevulture doesn't mind passing on its curse, but generally only to foreigners and travelers who will not become competitors to it. A werevulture typically lives in regions densely populated with wildlife.

Characters as Werevultures

The character gains a Wisdom of 17 if his or her score isn't already higher. Attack and damage rolls for the natural weapons are based on whichever is higher of the character's Strength and Dexterity.
