Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the kobold has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

Pack Tactics. The kobold has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the kobold's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Multiattack. The kobold makes two melee attacks; one with its scimitar, and one with its dagger. Alternatively, it makes two ranged attacks with its darts.

Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage.

Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.

Dart. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 20/120 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.

The kobold warrior differs from other kobolds in his use of better weapons (scimitar or shortsword) and the use of armor (usually leather).
Physically weak, most kobolds never make it past their first decade of life. Those who do, are the ones who are faster and tougher than average, having proven themselves in battle a number of times. These are the elite kobold warriors.
As experienced fighters, kobold warriors usually act as leaders in any group of kobolds. Regular kobolds usually look to them for leadership, and attempt to impress them when possible.

Variant: Winged Kobold Warriors

Winged kobold warriors are rare, but do surface from time to time. Such a kobold warrior has a flying speed of 30 feet.
