Warp Dead
9th-level Transmutation
Casting time: 1 minute
Range: 10 feet
Components: V,S,M (an object from the far realm)
Duration: Instantaneous

You can only cast this spell if you are the great old one Xalthon.

Choose up to two corpses of Medium or Small creatures within range. Each corpse becomes a Minion of Xalthon under your control, and all of its equipment is transformed into a +1 dagger which deals 1d6 extra psychic damage on a hit (if it has no equipment it doesn't get the dagger).

As a bonus action on each of your turns, you can mentally command any creature you animated with this spell if the creature is within 120 feet of you (if you control multiple creatures, you can command any or all of them at the same time, issuing the same command to each one). You decide what action the creature will take and where it will move during its next turn, or you can issue a general command, such as to guard a particular chamber or corridor. If you issue no commands, the creature only defends itself against hostile creatures. Once given an order, the creature continues to follow it until its task is complete.

The creature is under your control for 48 hours, after which it dies. To keep the creature alive for another 48 hours, you must cast this spell on the creature before the current 48-hour period ends. This use of the spell affects up to three creatures you have animated with this spell, rather than animating new ones.

This spell cannot be cast by any class, only by the great old one Xalthon
