Vocwell are a race made by the deity Velkor (3.5e Deity), Vocwel's are a Medium humanoid draconic/devil race


Vocwel are a race of personality having very similar egos as that of a human but even so even more. Vocwel are always trying to out show there own creations and are very crafty when come to fine arts, cloth and more. With this being said vocwel tend to be very cultural and very picky when it comes to none lawful situations. When it comes to lawful situations vocwel can be seen ether talking with the local community that it is living with or having a "Dancing Debate". Vocwel are a very lawful race and don't go against the laws they set for themselves or the laws of other areas. The Vocwel that decide to go against the laws are more of a nomadic bunch and will travel the lands. Vocwel that are wanderers (adventurers) Tend to not be lawful and are a assortment in all aspects of curiosity and thus are more nomadic and out shown in many aspects these vocwel tend to be more male with exotic coloring and a prestige to try and pick up exotics and knowledge.

Vocwel tend to take some same personality checks of that of humans and can have relationships with other races, Thus leading towards a more in-detailed relationship with that race.

Physical Description[edit]

Vocwel resemble humans in terms of basic skeletal structure with five fingers on each hand (accept for the Second pair which has only three fingers) and legs that are relatively straight. This similarity allows Vocwel to wear Medium armor. Vocwel tend to bend towards two different appearances ether a more humanoid dragon appearance or a more devil like appearance. Vocwel have to pairs of arms first pair being primary and strong used for everyday things and the Second pair being smaller and better at the finer tunings of small crafting. At the bottom of a vowels legs lays demon like draconic claws that make them faster on land but there not that good at swimming. Vocwel exhibit the characteristics of predators rather than those of prey races. Their forward-facing alert eyes(Four in total) give the impression that they possess outstanding eyesight and their teeth and jaws mimic the structures possessed by apex predators such as dragons. Needless to say, their talons on both their feet and hands seem capable of ripping flesh. As such, their diet is primarily meat-based but are omnivores. Their slender bodies also seem to suggest that they are also capable of moving at high speeds. Vocwel blood is Black

Male Vocwel: Tend to look more Draconic and are smaller then the women with this they show off draconic colors and small assortments of decorations to attract a female. The Decorations that a male wears are assorted to the location that he is settling in, Say if a vocwel is living in a dwarven keep he will wear dwarf "wears" and metals to attract a female of his race. Males tend to keep themselves more clean then the females and tend to seek (physical enhancements more). Depending on the area a male is living the male will take different approaches to what and wear it can learn.

Female Vocwel: Tend to look more Devilish and are larger then there male counterparts showing less colors and more broad as the females are more of a dominate race. The females Tend to be warriors and the fighters of the group, Females are more seen together then males and are more proactive in there community meaning, Hunting, Fighting, and more. With this the Females of the race are always busy and when a male that attracts them comes along a female will grow small amounts of scales on her crown to match that of the male she chooses to be with life with.


Because of their long lifespan, Vocwel tend to have a "long lawful view" not common in other races. When they encounter a new race or situation, the male vocwel's are more comfortable with an extended period of passive observation and study than immediate action, the female vocwel are more comfortable with doing small passive decisions into there actions leading towards(quests). They are unfazed that some of their investments or decisions may not pay off for centuries or more. Vocwel can seem to make incomprehensible decisions, but their insight is evident when their carefully-laid plans come to fruition.

Traditionally, Vocwel spread their influence through cultural observation and intellectual superiority. The Vocwel see information gathering and even spying as a matter of course when dealing with other races, but this is not underhanded: they simply embrace the dictum of "knowledge is power", The Vocwel tend toward communal, consensus attitudes among themselves too: for example, they prefer to live in shared spaces in houses and even tavern even if there are alternatives available.

In relations, vocwel always are lawful about there interactions maintaining stable balances of economic, political, and military power that is giving to them. Those who go against these lawful outlooks are disowned by other vocwel. Due to their method of reproduction, Vocwel have no concept of romantic love, sexual attraction, or the biological impulses and social rituals that complicate other races' lives. Male-female relationships are rare (due to the scarcity of females) Sexuality is strictly for the purpose of reproduction. Reproduction happens at least 10 times in a females lifespan each time she will give birth to about two or 3 children. It is common for Male Vocwel to settle down with females of other races other then there own race leading to small or medium sized vocwel community's.


Vocwel are Lawfully aligned and thus respect what is given to them, A vocwel that is not Lawfully aligned is considered a outcast or a adventurer.


Vocwel tend to live anywhere ranging from underground or even in the grasslands with humans, a area is just another habitable area for a vocwel. Vocwel tend to love to settle down in there earlier life (Around 3000 years) and become very invested with the land they live on and off of. Vocwel (3000+) Are more invested in the land then the younger and tend to have a long and notable history book somewhere.


Vocwel are a race made by the deity Velkor and thus many worship Velkor as there almighty god, Thus this does not apply to all of them, most tend to move away and live in different community's and learn to live with there inhabitants thus meaning taking up the Religions in that area. Vocwel are always open to a new religion even if it prelists with the law of the area they are located in thus they will take up the most local religion in the area to fit in to the best aspect. A vocwel without religion is called a Mogit a vocwel who is more a adventurer and does not settle down. A Mogit is not allowed to breed and must settle down with a given religion first.


Vocwel have a deep (Draconic sounding) like humanoid vocal chord, vocwel generally don't like to speak, but enjoy sign language and dance. However, the unusual motions they due makes other races really uncomfortable, which might keep them in more of a talking mood. Along with the motions they make with there arms and legs they will put words in with it making a very sophisticated language they themselves call -Volmda-. Volmda to other races just looks like a normal dance.

Volmda goes along with little words put together with many movements...If you think your at a ball of Vocwel...really your just at a massive verbal debate ...DO...NOT...DANCE..you might anger the crowd.


Vocwel that are born are given a birth name by there parents just like any human, just a bit more compacted. Just like how a Vocwel will speak it will also influence the name of the child with dance and words alike.

Females names seem to have more of a floral dance settling flavor to them like a flower falling down then a name afterwards.

Male names tend to be more elegant and exotic leading to weird stances with the name being added on while still in the dance (Leading to other races getting mildly confused)
