Vesperlin[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Flying fox- and Bat-Vesperlin look very different. While the Bat-Vesperlin have black fur and giant ears, the flying fox-Vesperlin have dark orange fur and slightly smaller ears. They both have black leathery wings connected by bone like structures. Their pitch-black eyes can be both cute and unnerving. Another difference between the two are their noses. Flying fox-Vesperlin's noses are fox-like, Bat-Vesperlin's noses are a bit pig-like. Their arms are at the top of their wings, controlling them. Their feet are claw-like so they can cling to trees.

History[edit]

Ages ago a mad artificer was trying to create vampires that would obey his every word. He used plants from the feywild and brewed strange potions that he tested on bats and flying foxes, which resulted in the creation of the first Vesperlin. He didn't stop testing his potions on them to finally create Vampires, they eventually fought back and broke free from his shakles. They fled at night when he was sleeping. Eventually two of them found the scientist's living quarters, sneakily killed his guards and finally took care of him. After that the Vesperlin finally got to live their own lives far away from the laboratory they were created in. They ventured forth into deep forests and caves where many lived for long, but younger Vesperlin decided to leave these places and do their own things.

Society[edit]

Bat- and flying fox-Vesperlins have lots of differencies in their societies. Bat-Vesperlin like to live alone and don't often interact with other people. They mostly stay in their forests, caves or other living places. As long as they aren't bothered, they don't bother anybody else. Flying fox-Vesperlin are very social and often life in nomad like groups of more than 50 other Vesperlin. They also love guests and are very open to other species. Most of them also hate being alone which is why Bat- and flying fox-Vesperlin often don't get along, even if there are exceptions of course.
