Semi-insectoid humanoids who onced dominated the feywild.

Physical Description[edit]

Vesparians are semi-insectoid humanoids with skin tones of dark greens, dark browns and greys with their hair commonly being of the same colour that have organically grown masks covering their faces that are commonly white with symmetrical patterns on them but in rare cases they can be black with orange patterns instead, they also have a hard carapace covering the more exposed parts of their body (arms, legs, torso and neck) the colour of the carapace is often a darker shade of their skin tone.


Vesparians originate from mountainous forests in the feywild as primordial vesparians (like normal versparians but with a two smooth horns with symmetrical patterns on them pointing upwards coming out of their mask and the marking glowing slightly) where they had an immensely powerful kingdom ruled by powerful spellcasters (primarily druids though they didn't serve nature, nature served them) but they were forced to abandon their kingdom by expanding elves and took refuge in the material plane losing most of their power and becoming the modern vesparian.


Vesparians normally exist as part of whatever society they were born near but they will form a hive inside a society that is similar to an extended family meaning that if one vesparian knows something all of them will know it, and if a hive is the dominant force in a society it will extend to include all other races within its sphere of influence creating a greathive.

Vesparian Names[edit]

Vesparians use the same types of name as those who were around them as a child: e.g. a Vesparian who grew up around dwarfs would have a dwarven name.

Vesparian Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score increases by 2.
Age. Vesparians mature at the age of 20 and commonly reach the age of 100.

Size. Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet this is also your swimming speed.
Carapace. due to your hard carapace your natural AC becomes 13 + dex or con (your choice).
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern colour in darkness, only shades of grey.
primordial ancestry. due to your ancestors power over nature still lingering within modern vesparians you know the druidcraft cantrip and at 5th level one first level spell from the druid spell list you can cast once per day (you use wisdom for these spells).
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and sylvan.
