Welcome!

Hello Charizardpimpin and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing it is recommended that you make sure your user preferences match your preferences.

Questions

If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that page's talk page. If you have a D&D-related question please ask it on DnD Discussions. Everything relating to D&D Wiki's administration can be found here. If your question does not fit into one of the above possibilities or you need to contact another user please use their talk page.

Formatting

Syntax can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Help pages also provide help in areas that have been decided as requiring additional explanation.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. To enable the community to function policies are in effect. Most importantly follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything and do not delete content. Also, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (Signature icon.png). This will automatically produce your name and the date. I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon (talk) 09:37, 3 February 2015 (MST)

Balance Comment[edit]

I saw balance issues on two different accounts. Firstly, the whole increased mobility thing is certainly cool, but I don't think it offsets the obvious balance issue with the spellcasting. Firstly, the fact that it's completely random can make them ridiculously unfair first level if they happen to stumble upon a sixth level spell tier one day, but can more importantly and more likely make them blindingly useless at later levels. Even if they got sixth level spells each time they rolled at twentieth level, they would hardly be memorable next to a twentieth level wizard. If I were you, I would make the motion to increase the maximum spell tier to ninth level, but make them harder if not impossible to get that high at early levels. After that, to make sure they got their due kermuffins at high levels, make the Dream Magic Control start at like 3%, and increase by intervals of 3. One simply does not help whatsoever for the character. I would also widen the range of spells by a great amount (or have the Seeker choose a couple or a few schools of magic and allow them the full spectrum of spells for the tier that they happen to roll that day within those schools). I hope this helps!
