Azure Gargoyle[edit]

"Sometimes everything is not what it seems."

Physical Description[edit]

Similarly to most gargoyles, they are winged elementals that often show little emotion. Unlike most though, these are made completely out of Sapphire and they prefer being animate then not. Translucent Dark blue crystalline skin makes these things beautiful during the day but terrifying during the night. They have sharp crystalline claws that are usually used as last resort. Most males have horns growing out of their heads, it depends on the age how long they are. For example, a 300-year-old Azure Gargoyle would have a good 30 inches of horn. So every 100 years equal 10 inches of horn.

History[edit]

Long ago the being known as Egonnock was freed from the Azure pit, the plane of mortal suffering and sorrow. With him and his 17 warlords of discord, he tried to destroy the Material Plane under the name The First Gargoyle of Eladarinius. Slain at the hand of 7 warriors along with, the souls he damned to the pit or devoured scattered across the plane and liberated it, thus becoming the Azure Plane. Those souls became the Gargoyles of Azure and made a society there in peace for centuries. They are made of the sheer willpower of the lost souls of numerous Gargoyles betrayed by Egonnock.

Society[edit]

They live in as lower nobility. No kings, just nobles. Lords and ladies are determined about the amount of gold they have. Often choosing one higher noble to address the issues of the world. Though a peaceful society they aren't too cooperative with other's ideas and will fight but only when push comes to shove. Females often hold more power than the males, unless said female doesn't want to be in power. In a normal village, the business will rival business, many of which are between different taverns or bakeries. They have a festival every season where everybody cooks for each other they have a giant feast and play games. Most foods and games are taking from the material plane from which most of their souls originate from the Material Plane
