Unearthly Seeding (3.5e Invocation)

You plant sinister looking seeds into your opponents. These life-leeching particles are composed of the same material of the Seed of Evil.
You sow seeds in one opponent per Charisma modifier, in a 30-feet radius (9 meters).
Each opponent must make a Fortitude save. If it fails it suffers damage equal to your Charisma modifier for one round + one extra round per four class levels (2 at 4th, 3 at 8th and so on).
The damage suffered by your opponents is converted in energy that heals you (whether you are living or not) of a same amount. Excessive hit points become temporary hit points up to 20, after which they are simply wasted.
This temporary hit points last one minute.
