after descending to the basement, you find Astrom's private room. in the middle of the room are stacks of books. most are science books, physics, astronomy, gun maintenance, "Baby's first laser", Power Armor Manuals, quantum mechanics, theory's on alien, and other general books. The magazine "Baby's first laser" is a skill book, if read will give temporary advantage with laser weapons.
