Wondrous item, Legendary

The tube of recreation is small tube with gold trimming etched with strange arcane runes. When a creature comes into contact with the tube, they must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the are engulfed and trapped inside the tube. On a success, they are immune to the tubes effects for 24 hours. The tube walls cannot be broken can only fit one medium or smaller creature. Once the creature is engulfed, the tube fills with a strange opaque gold liquid, and the creature inside becomes incapacitated. The nearest creature within a 20ft radius will enter into a trance like state where-in they are able to tug and pull the strings of the creature inside the tube, altering it to their whim. While in this state, the creature is still aware of the outside world and can still interact with it. While in this trance-like state, the creature may alter the trapped creature's size category (can't be more than medium), race, gender, height, weight, eye color, skin color, hair color, physical stats or anything obtainable through the alter self spell. They can even change the creatures creature type (ex. Humanoid, Beast, Monstrosity), but all mental ability scores are unaffected. During the recreation process, the creature making the alterations must succeed on a DC 14 Intelligence check. On a success, the creature inside the tube is changed to the creature's choices. On a failure, the recreation process goes wildly out of control and the trapped creature is randomly altered at the DM's whims. On a result of 5 or less, the change is different. They appear as a medium humanoid with pure white skin. They have no physically defining features which includes no mouth, no hair, no eyes, no nose, no ears, openings in their body and no gender specific features. They can still hear as normal even without ears, they no longer need to eat and drink as they are also physically unable to eat and drink and they gain blindsight of 60ft but they are blind beyond this radius.

Once the transformation is complete, the tube drains of liquid and the creature is freed before the tube shrinks back down. If the creature drops to zero hp, it goes unconscious, for this is now its true form and they are now immune to the tubes effects. The effects may be reversed with a greater restoration spell.
