Tome of Alteration (5e Equipment)

Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a spellcaster) This ancient book keeps the secrets to achieve great arcane power . Reading the books takes 20 days (8 hours per day). For the day to be considered successful an Arcana check is required (DC 1) . The DC is increased by 1 after a successful day of reading the Tome. Upon completion of the tome, the reader gains the following benefits : The tome can hold a maximum of 8 charges. The user has now the ability to cast a spell (they know) using as many arcane charges as the spell's level. Additionally he can cast the following spells : alter self (0 charges) disguise self (0 charges) rapid elemental orbs (5 charges) : (1 action , 120 feet , V/S , instant). Make 4 ranged spell attacks. Each of the 4 orbs deal 4d6+2 damage of your choice. The tome regains 1d4+3 charges at dawn.
