ACTIONS

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d8 + 2) piercing damage.

Crippling Shriek (Recharge 5-6). The Apathy lets out a haunting shriek that saps the willpower of any creatures hostile to the Apathy out to 300 feet. Each creature that hears the cry must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be overcome with apathy for 1 minute. A creature that is immune to the charmed condition automatically succeeds on the saving throw. A creature overcome with apathy has disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws and its movement speed is halved. An affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

The Apathy are jet black, eight feet tall and spindly. They are humanoid, rail thin, and appear to be composed of skin stretched tight over bone and tendons. At the end of their five-foot-long arms, their fingers bare eight-inch claws. The Apathy move slowly, contorting at random, and seem to be in pain with every step. When not shrieking they are often heard exhaling slowly, a sound similar to a long sigh. They have the ability to sap anyone's willpower to carry on, making every action a challenging feat.
