A Follow Up Question[edit]

You've guessed right: I did in fact wonder "what is this" when I first saw that this item had been proposed for deletion when there was no content here, before realizing later that it was because of the arrow markers left on the page. Luckily enough for me, however, before I looked on the "Edit" tab, you explained what it was: a weapon that dealt "necromancy damage," to which I promptly smiled because the creator made a funny little mistake. But I don't want to "move on" from this juuust yet.

You see, I have a follow-up question: why was this proposed for deletion? I understand that this weapon did have the wrong template, some questionable design choices, and said "necromancy" instead of "necrotic," but simply stating that there's something wrong with it doesn't seem like a viable excuse for immediately throwing Vex Paladin's work in with the soon-to-be-deleted pile. While, yes, it's been a while since this page was created, it hasn't seen any activity since February. If we simply trash someone's work without first discussing its problems thoroughly and fixing its shortcomings on a Wikipedia page, then a hefty chunk of the pages that exist on this D&D Wiki would never be here, including some of my own work.

I've done some work on this item, including changing the template, elaborating on its features, and turning it into a more clearly defined item. I would love to discuss your reasoning for resorting to the "Delete" template so quickly and even discuss the work I've just done, as opposed to just "mov[ing] on." --Hobogre (talk) 17:15, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
