Improving Creatures[edit]

Did you follow SRD:Improving Creatures? I am commenting since the size should change. And, as such, do you think it would make sense to move this to the new size (instead of epic)? --Green Dragon 23:13, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

First, yes, it says that a creature's size may increase with added hit dice, but also warns you that "Monsters that benefit from a smaller size may actually lose effectiveness because of a size increase. Monsters that don’t benefit from size increases don’t advance in that manner for this reason."
Second, this isn't a normal rat. That's why I didn't just tack on extra hit dice.
Third, it's a joke monster. It's a rat that has an epic level challenge rating, but still counts as an animal. -- saint23thomas -- 23:48, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
Oh crap, call the exterminator. PokeDM 23:59, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
I see what you mean. Other then that it seems weak for CR 21, but I don't have any advice as it is a rat. --Green Dragon 00:01, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Actually, just having that many hit dice makes an animal CR 20. -- saint23thomas -- 00:20, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Ya, but I still find it to be weak for a CR 21. For example you could give it a bonus feat, but as I said it is a rat, so I am not sure what to do or really if anything needs to be done. --Green Dragon 00:46, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
you cant make more than one bite attack per round, so you cant power gnaw. the ability could work if you make it a full round action to deal 8(d3-4)[not sure if it should be 8 tho]--Name Violation 09:09, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
