Talk:Order of the Ghost (5e Subclass)

Hello Mystic fans, Snowleo here, just breaking down the changes I'm making to this subclass.

So I think the overall concept is strong, a cool psychic assassins, trained in infiltration, information gathering and assassination. So the framework is good, its just to streamline those two concepts into something usable.

So first off, trying not to frontload the subclass at level one, so while other subclasses get their choice at either more psychic powers or martial prowess, this subclass can do both, but with less choices. While you gain proficiency in weapons and armor, you forgo a level 1 skill for two specific disciplines.

So for Streamlined Weapon, made is a bit more ... streamlined... and just used the Hexblade warlock's templating, but you get to do more damage with, as its propelled by your psychic powers. While the whole 'you must used it for 3 encounters' is cool, is wholly unpractical, cause if you are proficient in weapon, it means you've probably used it for a long time.

For Tenacity changed extreme heat and cold to something that will come up more often, difficult terrain. I do like the ability to ignore exhaustion so keeping that.

For Succinct while I like the choice at the end for the final ability, if this decision making was woven into the subclass, I think it you fit better, but the subclass really wants to do both, and I don't think it can support a binary decision making structure. So I made the two abilities weaker, but on the plus side you have access to both of them. Now you can really be a master of assassination and espionage.

Anywho, this is not mines so if the creator would like to revert it feel free!
