Hello, fellow wikian! I find that you are passionate on this page. I did some wording jobs few days ago, as you can see, and I'm keeping my eyes on this page. However, here are some concerns and questions on your work:
- Both katanas use the statistics of longsword, which already has the versatile property. It would be redundant if you state that the magical katana has that property.
- Both katanas can deal damage (necrotic and radiant, respectively) but would you not want to deal that damage normally? Not many creatures even have the pesky absorption feature, and from what I remember, none of the creatures have that kind of feature against necrotic and radiant damage. From what I see, there is little to no reason I would even not want the extra damage.
- Other than just "moar damage" kinda feature, this item has no... interesting part. Since you deleted the part where the light shines up to a few feet, the light is rather faint, isn't it? So there goes some good opportunity for adventuring. Cutting off heads and limbs are, frankly speaking, something you can also do with nonmagical swords and blades. Other than being a +3 longsword and some extra damage, I would say this item is, uh... meh.
I'm not really bright when it comes to katanas (actually I'm more into other parts of Japanese history, but that's another story) but if I were to make a magic item out of two of the most famous katanas in known history, I think they deserve something more interesting than just being really good at killing stuffs. --WeirdoWhoever (talk) 09:01, 25 July 2017 (MDT)
