Idea behind background

The idea behind this background is what it would be like for a soldier to be under a fallen faction that is gone yet he is the last of this empire: a single person. This background mixed a hermit and a survivor with a rogue warrior forced to survive alone. The background is supposed to be giving the player the question of what does the character put up with or react or handle this change of environment with a opposite empire takes all that the character was and throws him into a changed world, surviving off of the little things that have remained.

Proficiencies

This character has Proficiencies in whatever his role was in the army of his empire and knows languages the commoners had before the revelation of a new empire came in. Examples; blacksmith or quartermaster = Smith's tools or navigators tools. Captain = calligraphy tools.

Based on your description, this seems to be less of a proper background and more of a backstory. Are you sure this sort of background can't be better represented by the normal Soldier background, or the Outlander? --Nuke The Earth (talk) 10:34, 31 December 2022 (MST)
I saw it as a unique background and wanted to give an option to form the two into one. Honestly, this is first time making a background. --jb2002 (talk) 10:06am (UK time), 1 January 2023 (MST)
