Talk:Boon of True Primality (5e Epic Boon)

From D&D Wiki

The needsbalance message assumed that having a Belt of Strength was "pretty likely", and also included the example of having a +3 magic shield.

This is not 4th edition, where PCs are expected to have magic items and give the DM a "shopping list" of what they want. The DM is free to give what magic items when they like, including none at all, and PCs may not even be permitted to craft their own.

If the DM has granted a belt and a shield and granted this boon, then they will be aware that the AC will be very high. AC 29 is still within the bound of 30, and its the DMs responsibility to make sure the character is appropriately challenged with non-attack threats.Marasmusine (talk) 05:58, 28 April 2018 (MDT)
