Surasshu Jinja (Jujutsu Kaisen Supplement)
Surasshu Jinja[edit]
Medium humanoid (Cursed Vessel), neutral evil Armor Class 22 (unarmored defense)
Saving Throws Dex +11, Cha +13 This Body Is Mine. Surasshu has advantage against effects that would alter her form. Soul Learning. Whenever Surasshu makes a saving throw or check to gain soul knowledge, she does not have disadvantage. Additionally, she gains twice as much soul knowledge from any source. Cursed Energy. Surasshu has 115 cursed energy that she can use to fuel her abilities. All of her cursed energy is replenished at the end of a long rest. Cursed Armor (1-8 Cursed Energy). Surasshu can give herself temporary hit points equal to the cursed energy spent times 20 for 1 minute. Surasshu can only benefit from this feature again after 1 minute or having her temporary hit points reduced to 0. Surasshu gains damage resistance to 4 damage types that aren't Necrotic or Radiant when this armor is used. These damage resistances may be changed on a long rest or once per round as a bonus action or reaction to her using Cursed Armor. While her cursed armor is active, she regains 6 temporary hit points at the beginning of her turns. These temporary hit points cannot go above the maximum amount of armor she can have. Cursed Strike (1-7 Cursed Energy). Surasshu can, when making an Unarmed Strike, add 2d6 necrotic damage to her attack per Cursed Energy spent. She can also use this in response to rolling a natural 20 on an attack roll with an unarmed strike instead of beforehand. On a miss, the energy used remains until she hits a target or until 1 minute passes. Surasshu's cursed strikes also deal an additional 6 damage. This bonus can be doubled by spending 3 Cursed Energy. Curse-Empowered Strikes. Surasshu deals an additional 6 (1d12) necrotic damage whenever she attacks with her Unarmed Strikes (already applied). Additionally, her attacks are considered magical. Evasion. Whenever Surasshu makes a Dexterity saving throw, she takes half as much damage on a failure and no damage on a success. Cursed Energy Recovery. Surasshu regains 1 Cursed Energy at the beginning of each of her turns while in combat. This combat must be one where her life is at risk. Dismantle Maneuvers. Surasshu can execute the following Dismantle Maneuvers:
Multiple Energy Slashes. When using her cursed energy slash, Surasshu may spend the cost of it again up 6 times to create extra lines equal to the amount of times she spent the initial cost again in different directions instead of just one. A creature is only affected once if they're in the area of multiple slashes. Stored Energy. During a short or long rest, Surasshu can spend one of her hit dice to gain temporary cursed energy equal to the result rolled + 9. These temporary cursed energy last until the end of his next short or long rest. They are not restored by the Cursed Energy Recovery feature. Otherworldly Efficiency. Every time Surasshu spends cursed energy in a feature it counts as if she has spent twice as much, however the maximum amount she can reach remains the same. Additionally, she reduces the amount she spends on any features that use cursed energy by 6. This does not work for cursed techniques. 50 Meters In 3 Seconds! Surasshu has 2 reactions per round. Untraceable Speed. If an action or feature increases any of Surasshu's speeds, it is further increased by 25 feet. Strong Body. Surasshu will reduce all damage she takes but psychic or thunder by 5. Attacks using Cursed Energy or magic can bypass this unless she uses Cursed Armor. Taijutsu Sorcery. Once per turn, Surasshu can make an unarmed strike or a martial weapon attack with advantage. If she already had advantage on the unarmed strike or martial weapon attack, she raises the critical hit range for the attack by 1. Acrobatic Fighter.
Cursed Enhanced Body. As long as Surasshu has 1 cursed energy or more, she may add 3 to her attack and damage rolls with unarmed strikes or weapons she is proficient with (already applied). Improved Cursed Energy Output. As a part of any feature which uses cursed energy, Surasshu can expend extra cursed energy on it equal to half of the feature’s original cost to amplify its output. Amplifying a feature this way grants one of the following benefits:
If a feature benefits from Maximum Output that is already benefiting from this feature, it’s total cursed energy cost is reduced by 7, to a minimum of 1. Legendary Cursed Energy Output. If Surasshu uses Improved Cursed Energy Output and Maximum Output on a feature, its total cursed energy cost will now be reduced by 10. Reverse Cursed Technique. Surasshu has a healing pool of 595 that she can use with her reverse cursed energy. If she is suffering from a physical effect injury such as a concussion or something similar, one of these effects can be healed for every 10 hit points healed with reverse cursed technique. This cannot heal the health of lost limbs. Surasshu can use her Reverse Cursed Technique until her healing pool ends before getting burnout, during which she can't use Reverse Cursed Technique until her healing pool recovers. At the beginning of her turns while in a combat where her life is at risk, she regains 5 hit points of her healing pool back. Her healing pool automatically goes back to full at the end of a long rest. ACTIONSMultiattack. Surasshu makes 3 attacks. Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d8 + 8) bludgeoning and 6 (1d12) necrotic damage. Exorcise. Surasshu automatically destroys a cursed spirit within 30 ft. of her that she can see that has a CR of 3 or lower. Dismantle (1-15 Cursed Energy). When taking the Attack Action, Surasshu can replace one of her attacks with a cursed energy attack roll against a creature within 320 ft of her. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 slashing damage per cursed energy spent in the attack. If the attack was a critical hit the target must make a DC 21 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they are bleeding. On a success, they receive no additional conditions. This attack roll is made with advantage if the target cannot see invisible objects. Multiple attacks may be replaced with dismantle, but cursed energy may be spent for each attack. This cannot replace attacks from features such as Cursed Blast of Blows. She may also choose to make three ranged cursed energy attack rolls or only one for each attack replaced. She may make three in case she aims for two or more targets, with each dismantle dealing a third of the dice of the normal dismantle (rounded down) slashing damage. A creature needs blindsight to see the slash. Grid Slash (1-15 Cursed Energy). As part of using Dismantle, Surasshu can spend additional Cursed Energy to force all creatures in a 10 times the amount spent foot long, 30 foot wide and 30 foot tall line starting from her to make a DC 21 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take her dismantle's damage or half as much on a success. Cleave (1-22 Cursed Energy). As an Action, or replacing an attack as part of the Attack Action if Surasshu targets a creature she is grappling or an object, she makes a melee weapon attack roll against a creature. On a hit, they take 2d6 slashing damage per cursed energy spent. If the attack was a critical hit the target must make a DC 21 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they are bleeding. On a success, they receive no additional conditions. The cursed energy is not spent if she misses. This feature adapts its output to attempt to cut the target down in one fell swoop. When Surasshu spends cursed energy on this feature, she will learn how much cursed energy she needs to spend for the average damage of her cleave to reduce the target to 0 hit points from their current hit points, taking into account temporary hit points, damage reductions and thresholds, resistances and immunities, and any other feature which would directly affect the outcome. She will be told the maximum amount if she cannot reduce them to 0 hit points from their current amount by this calculation. It can bypass cursed armor by expending a higher cursed energy cost during casting that that of the targets cursed armor (E.g. If she fires a Cleave for 5 Cursed energy and the target has spent 4 cursed energy on cursed armor her cleave will deal damage to them as if it were cast at 1 cursed energy ignoring their cursed armor and nullifying it). Spiderweb (1-22 Cursed Energy). As part of using Cleave on an object, Surasshu can spend turn the ground in a 10-times-the-amount-spent-foot-radius circle into difficult terrain. All creatures within range must make a DC 21 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 2d6 bludgeoning damage per cursed energy spent and are pushed 5-times-the-amount-spent-feet away from her. On a success, they take half as much damage and are not pushed. Ground and structures targeted take maximum slashing damage. Cursed Energy Pressure (1-8 Cursed Energy). Surasshu forces all creatures within 5 ft. times the amount of cursed energy spent to make a DC 21 Strength saving throw. On a failure, they take (3d12 + 1d12 per cursed energy spent) necrotic damage and are knocked prone. On a success, they take half as much and are not knocked prone. Cursed Energy Slash (1-8 Cursed Energy). While Cursed Energy Weapon Enhancement is active on a weapon that deals slashing damage, Surasshu can produce a huge cursed energy slash. She makes all creatures in a either a 60ft. line, 30 ft cone or a 20ft radius around her make a DC 21 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take the damage of her weapon + a number of die equal to the amount of cursed energy spent in necrotic damage, and on a success they take half as much damage. Objects and structures take twice as much damage from this feature. BONUS ACTIONSMartial Arts. When Surasshu uses her action to make an unarmed strike, as a bonus action she can make another one or a one-handed weapon attack. Cursed Weapon Enhancement (1-7 Cursed Energy). Surasshu can add to a melee weapon she is wielding for 1 minute. Whenever she hits a target with the weapon, it takes extra necrotic damage equal to twice the amount spent. Surasshu can only use this enhancement again after 1 minute has passed. Surasshu's Cursed Weapon Enhancement will provide her with a bonus to her AC equal to half the energy spent, rounded down, +1, so long as she is wielding the weapon which has the enhancement applied to it. It also increases its reach by 5 ft. Cursed Blast of Blows (3 Cursed Energy). After taking the Attack action on his turn, Surasshu can perform two unarmed strikes as a bonus action. Cursed Patient Defense (3 Cursed Energy). Surasshu can take the Dodge action as a bonus action on his turn. Cursed Wind Step (3 Cursed Energy). Surasshu can take the Disengage or Dash action as a bonus action on his turn, and his jump distance is doubled until the end of their turn. Maximum Output. Surasshu can spend Cursed Energy equal to twice the original cost of one of her cursed techniques to amplify its cursed energy output, making it gain two of the following benefits the next time its cast:
Dismantle Maneuvers. Surasshu can execute one of the following Dismantle Maneuvers:
Untraceable Speed. Surasshu may perform the Dash action or make a Skill Check she is proficient in. Reverse Cursed Technique. Surasshu spends any amount of Cursed Energy, regaining 10 hit points for each energy she spends, and removing the same amount of healing from her healing pool. REACTIONSUntraceable Speed. Surasshu can use one of the following reactions:
Taijutsu Sorcery. After taking the Attack Action on her turn, Surasshu may take the Dodge Action as a Reaction. This dodge only works against Melee Attacks, and if a creature rolls a Nat 1 on a melee attack against her she may make 1 Melee attack against a creature within range. Cursed Enhanced Body (1-8 Cursed Energy). Whenever Surasshu makes a Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence or Wisdom saving throw, she may add the number of energy spent as a bonus to the saving throw. Reverse Cursed Technique. When Surasshu receives damage, she may use her Reverse Cursed Technique. |
