Ring, Unique ((attunement required by someone with a split personality or split souls.) (Recommended for classes with a deeper health pool maybe "half casting" viable))

This ring of steel with a gold chain inlay was created by a powerful young sorcerer with the help of a guild of talented crafters to split his brothers souls apart into two bodies.

One becomes two! Upon speaking the command word the golden chain disappears and the other soul/personality in your body gains a body that appears within 5ft of you and is different in appearance than you with a golden chain mark around the left wrist. (The split body is of the same race, stats, and class as the main gaining your class features which share uses. The split can cast spells, but shares spell slots with you and only has half of the main body's hitpoints rounded up. Ex. if you have 80 hitpoints the split body has 40. Only one split body can be active at a time, in the case of multiple personalities or souls, the splits body can be whichever personality or soul you choose to use.) You do not control the split and it rolls its own initiative. (Can turn against you.) This can only be used once a day, unless the first use of that day lasted under an hour and there was no combat in that time, then you gain a second charge which can only happen once a day as well.

Reap what you sew The split is summoned with a copy of everything you are carrying. (Magic items share Charges.)

One gains The split can attune to one extra magic item. (the main body does not gain use of this item.)

There is always a limit The splits body has a time limit of ten hours before it has to return to the ring or it has to make a DC 15 Wisdom save to remain, on a success it has to make a new save every hour after with the DC increasing by +1 on successive saves.(The DC goes from 15 to 16 and so on) Every success after the first the split also takes 1d4 damage for going over the limit. Max limit 14 hours if the limit is hit the ring will not be able to be used again for 1d4+1 days.) You may attempt to end this early, but if your split is unwilling you and your split must make a Wisdom save with a DC of 18, if you succeeded and the split failed, it ends early and the split returns to you, if you fail and the split succeeds you take 1d4 damage and have to wait an hour to attempt again, if you both succeed it is a draw and you have to wait an hour to try again, if you both fail you both take 1d4 damage and the split remains out and you have to wait an hour to attempt again. (This does not allow the split to bypass the 14 hour max. If the split is rendered unconscious from this damage it returns to you and the ring can't be used for 1d4+1 days.)

The pain we share If the split is killed it returns to the main body and the main body takes half of the split body's hitpoints as damage. (Ex. if the split had 40 hitpoints you will take 20 of those as damage.)

The show must go on If the main body dies while the split is still active and not the cause of the death, it becomes its own main body gaining everything the main body was and the golden chain mark on the wrist disappears. (It gains full hitpoint total, spellcasting, features and so on. It is not attuned to the items the main body was.) If this happens the ring breaks and the main body can not be revived unless with the true resurrection spell or the wish spell. (If the split is what killed the main body, the split disappears returning to the main body. The main body may be revived normally in this case and the ring remains intact but can not be used again for 1d8+2 days.)
