Splash (5e Variant Rule)

All splash weapons are either ranged thrown weapons, or pieces of ammunition used in ranged weapons.

On a hit with a splash weapon, the weapon (or ammunition) is destroyed, and you don't add any ability modifier to the damage roll. Each creature within 5 feet of the hit target must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or also suffer the splash weapon's damage. If you are proficient with the weapon, add your proficiency bonus to this DC.
