These rings are named after the legendary King Solomon, said to be granted divine wisdom beyond mortal comprehension. They represent the pinnacle of magecraft focus, forming a perfect harmony between the user’s cursed energy and structured spellcasting.
- Solomon’s Ten Rings
You possess ten Rings of Solomon, which require a Lapse somatic component of 2 to summon. As part of this, the rings automatically adorn your fingers. While they are worn and your fingers remain attached to your body, you gain the following benefits:
Extended Reach. Any spell you cast has its range, radius, width, and length increased by 5 feet for every ring you have adorned.
Arcane Capacity. You increase the number of spells your Grimoire can store by an amount equal to twice your proficiency bonus.
Reinforced Concentration. When a spell requires concentration, you do not make saving throws unless your actual hit points, not temporary hit points, are reduced. The DC for this save becomes 10 or ¼ of the damage taken, whichever is higher. If you fail the saving throw, you may spend 1 cursed energy to succeed instead.
Empowered Magecraft. Your magecraft technique is further refined through these rings. You may select spells of a level up to half your proficiency bonus, rounded down, above your normal limit. A DM may choose to disallow this feature entirely and is not required to provide any compensation for doing so.
