Armour (Plate), rare

Reinforced plate armour that slowly tightens onto the user.

This armour functions as plate armour but gives and extra +2 bonus to AC. When identified by magic, only this bonus is detectable.

Curse:

When the user dons the armour, nothing appears to be wrong.

After 5 minutes, the armour begins magically tightening and requires a DC12 strength check to doff. The DC of the check increases by one every 5 minutes.

Once the check reaches DC16, the user takes 1d4 bludgeoning damage when the check increases.

Once the check reaches DC19, the user takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage instead.

Once the check reaches DC22, the user takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage instead.

Once the check reaches DC25, the user takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage instead.

Once the check reaches DC29, the user takes 1d12 bludgeoning damage instead.

Once the check reaches DC35, the user takes 1d20 bludgeoning damage instead.

Once the check reaches DC40, the damage will finally stop. The armour will begin dissolving. After 20 minutes, the armour will be destroyed meld into the user giving them a permanent +2 bonus to AC.
