Armor (Chitin Armor), legendary

A Pitch Black set of Chitin Armor (5e Equipment) (AC 18, STR 13, 35 lbs), The Shadow-Spider armor is a heavy class of armor that was built light enough to accommodate flight. This armor is somewhat hard to come across since it is made from the remains of a Sharn Shadow Spider (3.5e Creature), which primarily reside in the city of Sharn, though can be found in any dark and secluded area.
Random Properties. The Shadow-Spider Armor has the following random properties:

  • 2 minor beneficial properties
  • 3 major beneficial properties
  • 3 minor detrimental properties
  • 2 major detrimental properties

Hard Exoskeleton. You have +3 to AC, an advantage on saving throws, and +3 to all ability scores.

Helping Hand. As you put on this armor for the first time, something inside it seems to be communicating with you. The voice helps you use the armor. You gain lightly armored, moderately armored, heavily armored, medium armor master, and heavy armor master feats the first time you put on this armor. Because of the magical properties of this armor. You also have 6 attunement slots instead of 3.

Eight Limbs. The extra limbs increase your carrying capacity by 150 lbs.

Dark Mist. You can turn yourself into a Black Mist. While in this form you lose all sight but gain blindsight for 20 ft. You cannot use items, weapons, or spells and you cannot make a single sound, but you can still communicate telepathically if you already have that ability. You have a flying speed of 20 ft while in this form and can not be attacked by non-magic attacks.

Spiderlike Abilities. You have an advantage on stealth, and your walking and flying speeds are increased by 20 ft. Gain abilities of the Cloak of Arachnida:

 Cloak of Arachnida:
You have resistance to poison damage.
You have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.
You can move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving your hands free.
You can't be caught in webs of any sort and can move through webs as if they were normal terrain.
You can use an action to cast the web spell (save DC 13). The web created by the spell fills twice its normal area.

Arachniphobia. Any creatures that can see you and are afraid of insects or spiders get -1 on all rolls while they can see you due to distraction.

Curse. Any female arachnid you encounter is overcome with lust for you when it smells the pheromones from the armor. The arachnid will spend every action in combat attempting to breed with you. Every turn it does this you must overcome a DC 15 strength check to push the spider away or a DC 15 dexterity check to wrangle free of its grip.

Destroying the Shadow-Spider Armor. There is no way to destroy this armor.
