History[edit]

Originally the Kored and its Dukes employed tribal warriors, but the human and the ork tribes clashed again over racism and religious differences - Beginning the Ork Rebellion. Under the war, Orks kidnapped Kored (or God, according to different sources) in ransom for their own Kingdom. The Gods nearly destroyed the world, but the divine isles were created. The victorious Orkish Tribes established the superiority of the early samurai over the aristocracy. In time, they amassed enough manpower, resources and political backing, in the form of alliances with one another, to establish the first samurai-dominated government.

The Ancestors of the Thousand Beautiful Children were among the first gods to join the Red Shogunate. The Fateful Forge, Kashuk himself had been disfigured by the pure elves, the insane god of smiths gave the Red Shogunate their arqeubus technology. The samurai soon would develop their own sciences of martial arts and tactics.

At the end of the cataclysm, the Orks appointed their grand general Shogun, establishing the Red Shogunate. He set up the Red Shogunate (or The Red Bakufu, "Bakufu" means "tent government"). The name originating from the encampments the soldiers would live in, in accordance with the Bakufu's status as a military government. A general Han Taanar split with the Shogunate and created the Horde of the golden Horn. A few centuries later, the now immortal Han Taanar sent his horde with a force of some 40,000 men and 900 ships to invade the Red Shogunate. The Orks mustered a mere 10,000 samurai to meet this threat. The Scorpion War God, Trashing Stinger was angered at the blasphemy of the horde and harassed the invading army with major thunderstorms throughout the invasion. Trashing Stingers storms aided the defenders by inflicting heavy casualties. Way of the Universe spread among the samurai and helped to shape their standards of conduct, particularly overcoming fear of death and killing, but among the general populace, the Pure Land Way of the Universe was favored.
