nature enhanced species: salamanderfolk tend to be neutral slippery menace: salamanders get a +3 dexterity racial bonus skin breathers: salamanders can breathe in water and have a +1 bonus when hiding. diminuative presence: salamanderfolk have -1 strength. subraces: there are 5 subraces. slipsters,huskies,wonders,wanderers,and warriors.
slipsters: skilled getaway: slipsters have a +4 dexterity bonus instead of +3. hunters mark: slipsters have advantage with ranged attacks. slippery salamanders: slipsters have advantage on dexterity saving throws.
huskies: jumbo salamanders: huskies have a +1 constitution bonus. furry: huskies have resistance to all forms of cold damage. fat: huskies can go a long time without food.
wonders: magic nature: wonders can predict the future. wise presence: wonders have +1 wisdom magic vs. strength: wonders naturally hate orcs and ogres.
wanderers: wandering nature: wanderers have +1 intelligence. born for the wild: wanderers are proficient in the animal handling skill love of nature: wanderers have qualms about cutting down trees.
warriors: strong, but persuasive: warriors have +1 strength and +1 charisma. berserkers: warriors tend to be chaotic. warriors have resistance to bludgeoning,piercing,and slashing damage and have vulnerability to necrotic and psychic damage.
salamanderfolk societies are similar to gnome societies.
Males have names ending in a vowel. Females' names end in a hard consonant. Names appropriate for both genders have soft endings.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, salamanderfolk, draconic, celestial,infernal, and one other language of your choice.
