Resourceful Brawler

You've learned to take advantage of what is around you, whether its yours or not.

You gain proficiency with improvised weapons, which you may use either Strength or Dexterity to deal a minimum of 1d4+modifier damage of an appropriate type.

  • If you have the Martial Arts class feature, or a similar feature, an improvised weapon counts as a monk weapon/etc.

When a creature no more than one size larger or smaller than you misses you with a melee weapon attack you may use your reaction to attempt to disarm that weapon. Make a Dexterity(Sleight of Hand) check contested by the opposing creature's Strength(Athletics) or Dexterity(Acrobatics) check. On a success you disarm the creature of that weapon.

  • If you have a free hand, or two if the weapon is two-handed, you may take hold of the disarmed weapon, otherwise it drops 5 feet plus another 5 feet for every 5 point difference in the skill contest from the creature.
  • If you are not proficient with this weapon you may use it as an improvised weapon until the end of your next turn.
    • This feature has no effect on weapons that cannot be removed, such as a weapon fused to a creature's arm or the natural weapons of a beast.
