Blood Frenzy. The drake has advantage on attack rolls against any creature that doesn’t have all its hit points.

Dazing Pounce. If the drake moves at least 30 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a bite attack on the same turn, the creature must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of its next turn.

Enrage. For every 8 damage the drake takes before the start of its turn, it can move an extra 5 feet or deal an extra 3 (1d6) damage with an attack that it hits a target with on its next turn.

Keen Sight and Smell. The drake has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight or smell.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The drake makes three attacks: one with its bite, one with its claws, and one with its tail.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (4d6 + 6) piercing damage.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d6 + 6) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage.

REACTIONS

Furious Recklessness. In response to a creature that the drake is aware of hitting it with a weapon attack, the rage drake can move up to half its speed and make one attack with its claws.

A rage drake is a ferocious dragon used commonly to guard an evil warlord treasure or secret underground chambers. They patrol their dungeon halls, searching for their next victim with their jaws dripping saliva. Even the slightest amount of damage can send them into a rage, destroying their victims with a furious blast of claws and teeth.

Furious Guards. A rage drake will defend its station and fight to the death. As their enemies damage it, it grows stronger due to its raging nature. Even while enraged, it is careful enough to attack only its enemies and not its fellow guards.

In the Wild. Some rage drakes hunt in caves and dense forests and jungles, still retaining their furious rage. Wild rage drakes will hunt any edible animal they can find.

To the inhabitants of Firestorm Peak, the rage drake is considered ‘tame’
