You launch a searing beam of light at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 radiant damage. Fiends and undead take 1d12 radiant damage when hit by this spell instead of 1d10.

The spell creates more than one beam when you reach higher levels: two beams at 5th level, three at 11th level, and four at 17th level. You can aim the beams at the same target or different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each beam.
