Race Spellcasting[edit]
Introduction[edit]
Some D&D races have a spellcasting of only one use of their racial magic per day, an example of this is the tiefling, who can only use hellish rebuke and darkness once, after which they must finish a long rest. This does not allow them to use their spell slots if they are of a class that has them.
Other races, such as genasi and their variants, can cast their racial spells with their spell slots. The others are left behind.
New Rules[edit]
This rule allows races to spend spell slots when casting spells granted to them by racial traits. Additionally, they are able to choose freely between the Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma modifiers for those spells.
Affected Races[edit]
Races that are eligible for this rule are:
- Tiefling and its variants
- Elf and Half-elf (Dark Elf Variant)
