Psionic Human (5e Race)

Psionic Humans look exactly like normal Humans. They may have psionic abilities, but those psionic abilities don't have an effect on their appearance.
Psionic Humans are rare humans, exposed to the wonders of psionics. At a young age, likely sometime during adolescence, they begin to develop unusual capabilities- abilities no one else has, but aren't magic. They're just something they can "do". For some people, these powers are wildly out of control, being more of a nuisance or disruption than a useful tool, some can only access their powers through intense concentration or while under the effects of a powerful emotion, while others use their powers as naturally as they would their own hands.
Psionic Humans are a part of normal human society, and have similar views on other races as normal humans.
Psionic Human Names
Psionic Humans use the same names as normal humans.
Psionic Human Traits
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2 and one other score of your choice increases by 1.
Age. Psionic Humans mature at the same rate as normal humans, but live a decade or two longer.
Alignment. The Psionic abilities of Psionic Humans cause them to tend towards Chaotic Alignments.
Size. Psionic Humans are the same height as normal Humans. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Psionic Armor. Your Psionic Abilities grant you a permanent barrier of force that protects you. While you aren’t wearing armor, your AC is equal to 13 + your Dexterity modifier.
Psionic Resistance. You gain a resistance to psychic damage.
Psionic Darkvision. Your psionic abilities grant you superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Psionics. You know the psychokinesis cantrip. Also as a bonus action, you can try to telekinetically shove one creature you can see within 30 feet of you. When you do so, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier or be moved 10 feet toward or away from you. A creature can willingly fail this save. Finally, you can cast telekinesis once per day using this trait. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for all of these spells.
Trance. Psionic Humans don't need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is "trance.") While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a normal human does from 8 hours of sleep. If you meditate during a long rest, you finish the rest after only 4 hours. You otherwise obey all the rules for a long rest; only the duration is changed.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
