False Appearance. The pseudo-tarrasque appears identical to a tarrasque. It can be distinguished from a real tarrasque on a DC 22 Wisdom (Perception) check.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the pseudo-tarrasque fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The pseudo-tarrasque makes four attacks: two with its bite, and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 26 (3d12 + 7) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 15 ft., one creature. Hit: 25 (4d8 + 7) slashing damage.

Light Breath (Recharge 5-6). The pseudo-tarrasque exhales a cone of solid light in a 75-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 22 Constitution saving throw, taking 113 (9d20 + 18) force damage on failed save on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

LEGENDARY ACTIONS

The pseudo-tarrasque can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The pseudo-tarrasque regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Attack. The pseudo-tarrasque makes one attack with its claws.
Light Breath (Costs 2 Actions). The pseudo-tarrasque recharges and uses its Light Breath.

Pseudo-tarrasques are terrifying dragons that are almost identical in appearance to the legendary tarrasque.

Intelligent Glutton. Unlike most other dragons, the pseudo-tarrasques have little interest in treasure, and instead have an immense love for food, and may even spare a village in return for a large feast. On rare occasions, if the food is of high enough quality and a constant supply is ensured, the dragon may even serve as a guardian (although it will just as soon eat the inhabitants if the supply of food shrinks or the quality drops). However, most pseudo-tarrasques have a hoard of treasure to serve as bait for new prey. The pseudo-tarrasques' obsession with food can serve as a weakness, as particularly clever adventurers have managed to escape while the pseudo-tarrasque was out to find a side dish.

Beam of Destruction. The most notable feature of the pseudo-tarrasque is its breath weapon, a cone of solid light that obliterates most things instantly. The sound of a loud unnatural roaring and a bright white flash is the last sight of many overzealous dragon slayers.
