Ram. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage.

The protoceratops is a squat, quadrupedal dinosaur roughly the size of a large boar. It has a thick, muscular body with a short tail and powerful limbs adapted for scrambling over rocky desert terrain. Most distinctive is its oversized, bony frill—a fan-shaped crest that extends from the back of its head—and a short, parrot-like beak ideal for shearing tough vegetation. Though lacking the long horns of its later relatives, it has a small nasal bump and prominent cheekbones that give it a rugged, determined appearance.
