Pantheran (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Pantheran that live in more mountainous regions are large, bulky anthropomorphic cats that come in many shades of black, white, gold, and gray; usually accompanied by spotted patterns. Female Pantherans however are more sleek and slender compared to males.
Pantherans have dwindled over the long span of their kind's existence. Most Pantherans now reside in high altitudes around mountains of plateaus, and rarely leave their tribes. Though once a year, most tribes travel to the Great Mountain to participate in the Life Cycle Celebration. This celebration brings together Pantherans from all regions and it is during this time that marriages are performed by a single Cleric who has been named High Cleric. The Pantheran who this title is conferred upon holds the title until his or her death.
Pantheran all contribute to society in one shape or form. Since communities are so small and tight-knit, at a young age, usually around two to three years old, each Pantheran is assigned a lifelong job, to help contribute to the balance of their respective tribe.
