Pantheon of the Six Teeth (5e Deity)
Pantheon of the Six Teeth[edit]
Alignment. Chaotic Good
Domains. Nature and Technology
Divine Rank. Lesser Deity
The Pantheon of the Six Teeth were once a party of engineers, seeking the balance between industry and nature, ascended to the echelon of the lesser Gods by nature itself. Nature molded them into the dragonfly, a signal of health and balance within a system. Though they may act independently, they are never separate and as each tooth of a gear is equal to the other in form and function, so too are the six. Each of the six elevates creatures of their choosing to become angels and grants them one gift. These angels are tasked with becoming patrons to worthy emissaries on the common plane capable of furthering the mission of the six. Driver, the head of the dragonfly, grants its angels truesight and provides them tremendous leadership. Pitch, the left forewing, grants its angels uncanny maneuverability to dodge the most dasterdly of predators. Velocity, the right forewing, grants its angel immense speed to reach its destinations with ease. Friction, the tight hindwing, grants its angels enhanced control when of objects or creatures they are in contact with. Meshpoint, the left hindwing, grants its angels the magical ability to calm persons at will. Finally, Torque, the tail of the dragonfly, provides its angels with enhanced strength to handle the most daunting of obstacles. With these gifts, their mechanized angels can aid their emissaries in the pursuit of balance between nature and industry; a battle that is never truly won as no equilibrium is permanent.
The creatures these mechangels choose to patron are granted magical and mechanical gifts, should they choose to accept them (See Warlock Class, MechAngel Patron). As emissaries of the six, they must adventure to regions where industry is hindering the flow and health of nature or where nature is overtaking the industry of innovative humanoids. In these areas, they must use their abilities to promote balance and educate, accommodate, or eradicate any threats to this balance. Emissaries in distress will find that still water and bustling factories/forges provide the greatest bond to their patron.
Remnants of the six left behind in the common realm are:
The goggles of enhanced sight, which allow their wearer to detect scent through a visual spectrum of color. The rod of rotation, which spins the wielder out of harms way. The springed boots, which increases the speed of their wearer. The burr gauntlets, which cling to surfaces and each other for improved grip. The puzzle-box of tranquility, which grants the wielder the ability to cast Calm Person as a cantrip when the puzzle is complete. The Ape-Wrench, an over sized tool that expands and contracts within or around a target, advantageous when applying one's own strength.
